Saint Thomas Aquinas is one of the greatest saints ever produced during the 2000 year history of the Church. He contributed more to the development of western Christian philosophy and theology than anyone before or since. I may be a little biased towards him, since I have a very Dominican spirituality, and love Thomistic theology.
